If it involves people benefiting from time with a horse, we pretty much do it.
We offer lessons on a monthly basis. We have two lesson per week packages,
and four lesson per week packages. You can visit and pet horses for free,
as much as you want. We can do special occasion single rides, for birthdays,
or kids visiting grandma, or even "let's see if Susie really wants to ride horses
or just thinks she does". There is never any pressure to make big commitments,
and we'll be as flexible as we can be for you.
We are not a competition based lesson program. If you are looking to compete,
Serendipity is not the place for you. If you are looking to be the very best rider you can, who occasionally goes to a show to try something new, we might be able to work with you,
but if showing is your entire reason for riding, you won't be happy here. If you are just looking to trail ride, while we do that, it's not a big focus. However, before you write us off,
come see what we do, because you might be surprised at how much fun it can be to work really hard at your riding.
We work in the arena, and we work in the field. We are constantly changing jumps around, setting up exercises in the ring to teach new skills, and we hold a variety of activities at the barn to give ourselves things to work towards. Games, skills tests, and two phases are common Saturday occurances. We haul out for XC in the summers.
We welcome people of all ages, sizes, and skill levels. Please understand that riding is a very individual sport, and not everyone learns at the same rate, and therefore
I can't tell you "how long" it will take you to achieve a certain level. The only thing
I can promise you, is that I'll make sure you have as much fun as you can,
while you are learning. Oh, and I can promise that you'll discover you can hurt in places you didn't even know you had muscles, but that's just a side benefit.
Lessons start at $140 per month
for two lessons per week.
We are presently not accepting
new students until Sept.
*** but we are meeting new people
who might want to start then!
